There are multiple walks in Llafranc. You can decide how far you want to hike yourself. There is a long coastal pathway towards Calella de Palafrugell and even further towards Cap de Roig. You can also decide to go the other way towards Cabo de San Sebastian. We decided to walk towards Calella de Palafrugell, enjoy the sun on the beach and then walk back towards the camper. The path is beautiful and well maintained. Even during winter, the coastal pathway is a popular during the weekends. Along the coastal pathway, you will have amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque towns along the coast.
Other things to do at Llafranc beach
There are some other things to do in the town besides walking.
- Food/drinks; There are a lot of small restaurants and bars in Llafranc. Enjoy the views with some refreshments on one of the many places along the beach.
- Shops; Take a look in the small local shops and find some beautiful souvenirs.
- Beach day; The sandy beach of Llafranc is perfect to put your towel down and relax for a day. Take a dip in the water when it is warm and make sure to protect yourself from the sun.
- Water day; The water is crystal clear, and you will find beautiful rock formations. Therefore, this town is perfect to take a boat trip onto the sea. It is a perfect spot to take a diving tour out in the open sea.
- Snorkeling; Don't want to dive? Snorkeling is also perfect in the bay of the beach of Llafranc. You will explore the underwater world and find out what fish are living here.
Parking near Llafranc beach
There are a couple of free parking options available in Llafranc near the beach. Firstly, you can park your camper or car on this parking lot, it is only a 5-minute walk towards the beach. There are no restrictions on this parking lot. So there is no indication that you are not are allowed to sleep on this parking place during the night. The road next to the parking is very calm at night. This other parking lot in Llafranc is bigger. From both parking lots, you can easily walk the coastal pathway along the beach of Llafranc.
